What we collect
HandReview collects only what it needs to coach you on the hands you bring it:
- Account information from Google sign-in (name, email)
- Your conversations with the AI coach
- Hands, leaks, and sessions you choose to log
That's it — no payment details, no location, no connected third-party accounts beyond sign-in.
How we use it
Your data is used to analyze the spots you describe, track leaks across your sessions, and carry context forward through conversation. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- Supabase — Authentication and database. Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security, so you can only access your own.
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI coaching. Your conversations and the hand details you share are sent to the Claude API to generate coaching responses. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models.
- Google — Sign-in only. We receive your name and email to create your account; we do not access any other Google data.
- Equity engine — All poker math runs on our own private service. Only the cards in a spot (your hand, the board, a range) are sent to it — never anything that identifies you.
Data security
All traffic is served over HTTPS with HSTS. Database access is enforced through row-level security policies — every row is scoped to the user who owns it.
Data retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. During beta, you can request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
